        • On June 7th, 2024, our wonderful parents organised the 8th grade ball at our school which lasted four hours from 6.00 PM to 10:00 PM. Official part of event took place at the gym. Event started with a short speech by head teacher Ms Agnieszka Kania. Then students, prepared by Mr Piotr Włodarski, danced polonez. After that we went to the second floor of our school. There was touching speech by Zosia’s mom, Ms Ania and encouraging to have fun speech by Alena’s mom, Ms Monika. At 7.00 PM, a cake with candles was brought into the hall and we sang „Sto lat” to celebrate the eight years that we have spent together. The place where we could eat was located in classroom number 23. The catering looked great and tasted delicious. We could choose what we wanted to eat from the menu including mini burgers, tortillas, sandwiches, nuggets or cakes. Next to the stairs stood Photo Booth 360 where we could record silly videos wearing funny glasses or hats. During the entire event the DJ played songs that we danced to. Some teachers took part in the party and even danced with us. In my opinion it was a really exciting and full of fun evening.

        • Trip to Białystok 22-24 maja 2024
        • Trip to Białystok 22-24 maja 2024

        • 13.06.2024 22:42
        • We met in front of our school on May 22nd. At exactly 7:15 everyone was already supposed to be there with their bags and backpacks🧳.
After the teachers finished reading our names, the guide introduced herself and then we all got in a group and got ready to go to the bus.
Everything was pretty good on the bus, there wasn’t any specific problem on our way to Bialystok, just everyone was pretty desperate because most of us were  worried  that there wouldn’t be any McDonalds🍔.

We went to a museum on our way to Bialystok, it was very hot, but interesting. We also went to 2 different places after the museum. The first one, was just a simple place that showed us old-fashioned clothing from years ago and old books. The second place was a small house. Teachers before the trip told the girls to bring scarves because it was some kind of an Arabic place (to respect their religion). The guide of this house told us that its not necessary to have them on, so we sat there and listened. The guide was very kind and funny, he told us interesting facts about their religion and also stories.
We ate at the same restaurant  for 2 days. On the first day we ate soup with rice and for second course we ate meatballs with purée and compote.

Finally, in the hotel, we all got our keys 🗝️to our dorms and spent the rest of the day there, we all got comfy and then went downstairs because our teachers wanted to tell us to behave ourselves since it’s the last school trip and explain some things to us. After that, it was only fun and happiness: everyone running in the corridors before cisza nocna which was at 22, everyone was going to each other’s rooms, teachers were relaxing (I suppose), some of us met downstairs and tried playing the guitar, it was funny.
The next morning, we ate in our hotel. We had oat flakes with a strawberry on top of it, it was warm and tasty. We also had the option to make ourselves sandwiches or some tea.
After breakfast, we got ready to go to a trip. It was a nice, long trip to connect with nature. I think we were there for 2 hours. At the beginning the guide was explaining and showing us different types of plants and what they can be used for. Later, (in the same place) we saw some animals, there were only owls🦉 and eagles but they were all really adorable!
2 hours passed, we went back to the bus  and drove back to the hotel. We went to a place close to our hotel so we could buy some things and a lot of food for the next day because it would be our last day in Bialystok. At the hotel we ate dinner and then went to a beautiful church ⛪nearby. After that, we had free time for the rest of the afternoon so again, it was only happiness.
Finally, on the last day, we had only 2 trips left. The first one was a big palace with a huuuuuge garden that had a fountain and a lot of sculptures around it, it was really pretty. Next, we had a break. It wasn’t really long but we had time to explore or buy ourselves something to eat. We went back to the bus and headed for lunch before our long way back to Warsaw. We were trying to find a place to eat and we actually did, but the waitresses didn’t want to serve us because we were a lot and they weren’t ready for such unexpected visit. Fortunately, the waitress told us where the closest McDonalds is so everyone was really excited.
We immediately got in the bus, we had one place left to visit but it was optional. Only a few people went there, I was in the group of the few people. We went up a hill for some minutes, it was really beautiful up there, the view was incredible and the wind was soft, perfect climate.
We were there for 20 minutes at least, then went back to the bus and finally headed to McDonalds successfully. After eating we got in the bus🚌 ready to go back to Warsaw.
          Such a good trip!

On 3rd May 1791 in Poland constitution was introduced – the second in the world and the first in Europe. This year on 30th April in our school was the assembly  to commemorate this anniversary.  It was organised by Ms Szymczyk and Ms Misiak and pupils from 5th and 8th grades.  First, the school banner entered the room and everybody stood up and sang both national and school anthem. When school banner left the room, pupils from 5th and 8th grades presented  their show and told many interesting facts about the constitution and what it changed. After that, students recited the invocation from ,,Pan Tadeusz” written by Adam Mickiewicz, with music. Next, everyone who took part in the show bowed up and all pupils went to their classrooms and continued  lessons.

        • Our spring fair this year was an absolute blast! Not only were we selling delicious cakes made by our talented students, but we also had cotton candy and Easter decorations crafted by the younger classes. And let’s not forget the excitement of the lottery, where students had the chance to win various prizes! It was heartwarming to see everyone getting involved and having the opportunity to buy something special or even win a prize! A big thank you to our sellers, chosen by our teachers. They did an amazing job making sure everything went well, showing the items and helping excited buyers. Even though the fair was only 4 hours long the time went by really fast because it was so exciting. It’s amazing to think that in two hours most of our stuff was already sold out! And we raised over 1000 zlotys! We’re really looking forward to the next fair - we can’t wait!🐇

        • Our trip to the cinema was great. Together with the seventh and eighth grades, we went to see a movie called The 1863 Uprising. The film describes what the Polish January Uprising looked like.
It also talked about the Battle of Warsaw in 1920. Before and after the film, we went to eat something, but the older classes had to go back to school. Then we all dispersed and went to our homes🏠.
